The RPA committee and I would like to thank you for your valuable support over the past year.
It has been a challenging year with changes in coalition leadership and while we are back on a reasonably even keel, the situation remains volatile and we are extremely concerned about ongoing political influence on key administrative positions.
We are working hard behind the scenes to ensure that competence and experience prevails and that good governance, accountability and transparency is in place.
Our efforts this year are also focusing on our fragile infrastructure which is under pressure from growth of population and property development. We recently held a strategic workshop with Bitou on water supply and storage and hope to hold workshops on sewerage and waste shortly. These workshops will hopefully create more conversations around longer term investment requirements.
We would very much appreciate your continued support for 2025 as we have a lot to accomplish. We have kept the fees the same at R600.00 per annum
