Dear Mayor Lobese,
In light of revelations and evidence contained in MEC Bredell’s report, it is now impossible for any thinking person to have confidence in your leadership, abilities and suitability as executive mayor.
It is evident that you have breached your oath of office to uphold the law and always act in the best interests of the municipality you serve, and we call upon you to do the honorable thing and resign your elected position as councillor.
The basis of our request is that you fail to satisfy the requirement that you should be a fit and proper person to hold office within the contemplation of the law.
